Alternate Safe Babies Training

May 31st 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Safe Babies Alternate Caregiver course is a 6 hour educational program for caregivers who will be doing daytime relief for the Safe Babies homes of infants who have been exposed prenatally to drugs and/or alcohol.

This training is open to those Foster Parents or caregivers who are interested in caring for safe babies as well as, MCFD/DAA staff and community partners who work with Safe Babies homes. This training will allow caregivers to care for infants and toddlers during the day, but not overnight. Caregivers wishing to do relief care overnight must have the full three day Safe Babies course.
