The Safe Babies Foster Parent training is an educational program for those interested in becoming caregivers of children under the age of 3 who have been exposed prenatally to drugs and/or alcohol.

Meet Your Network Facilitator
I started my career as a Child and Youth Worker in 1997, gaining experience and knowledge in group homes, youth shelters and hospitals in Toronto, Ontario. This excellent opportunity offered me insight into working with at risk children, youth, adults and families. In 2006, I moved to Kimberley, BC. From 2006-2014 I worked as the community links worker with School District 6, my goal was to connect vulnerable and at risk students with positive connections in the community. 2014-2024 I went into private business non field related.
After a decade of entrepreneurship, the social services field was calling me back. As of September 2024, I'm excited and proud to be part of the Support to Family Care Network Program as the Network Facilitator for the East Kootenay areas.
