This training consists of three 1.5 hour sessions and an additional question and answer session presented by Joyce Johnson, our Network Facilitator in the West Kootenay area who developed this training.
Topics covered include: understanding your contract, protocols and the process, documentation and reports, insurance for foster parents and WorkSafe BC (WCB). With all the Ministry changes in the last year, nearly 40% of this training had to be updated. So even if you have attended this before, it’s a good idea to check this out as a refresher.
