We are holding an RCMP Panel for Foster Parents Cst. Sophie Winkels (North Shore Youth Officer N/S & Youth Probations) and Cpl. Darren Angman (NCO i/c Crime Prevention) from the RCMP will be coming to do a presentation and question/answer period for our foster parents.
The topics they will cover include:
1. Internet safety: what teens are doing online, on social media, and on cellphones along with the changes to the legislation
2. Drugs, gangs and recruitment in Kamloops
3. The age of consent and the ages children can be charged with a criminal offence
