Safe Babies (3 Day) certification

The Safe Babies Foster Parent Training is a 3 day educational program for those interested in becoming caregivers of infants who have been prenatally exposed to drugs/alcohol.
This training will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to Safe Babies (who, what, when, where, why)
- Understanding Women and Addiction
- Impacts of Substance Use During Pregnancy
- Partnership with Birth Families
- Neonatal Withdrawal and Related Health Issues
- Neurodevelopmental Support for Substance Exposed Infants
Day 1: Tuesday, November 19, 2019
Day 2: Wednesday, November 20, 2019
Day 3: Monday, November 25, 2019

Please note: You must attend all 3 days and will be requiered to obtain an Infant CPR (CPR C) certification to be concidered a Safe Babies Certified Home.
