Safe Babies (3 day) certification - Golden

The Safe Babies Foster Parent Training is a 3 day educational program for those interested in becoming caregivers of infants who have been prenatally exposed to drugs/alcohol.
This training will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to Safe Babies (who, what, when, where, why)
- Understanding Women and Addiction
- Impacts of Substance Use During Pregnancy
- Partnership with Birth Families
- Neonatal Withdrawal and Related Health Issues
- Neurodevelopmental Support for Substance Exposed Infants
Day 1: Monday September 16, 2019
Day 2: Tuesday, September 17, 2019
Day 3: Wednesday, September 18, 2019

Please note: You must attend all 3 days and will be required to obtain an Infant CPR (CPR C) certification to be considered a Safe Babies Certified Home.
There will also be a Life Book Training on Thursday, September 19 for those interested
