Safe Babies Training - Lillooet

The Safe Babies Foster Parent training is an educational program for those interested in becoming caregivers of infants who have been exposed prenatally to drugs and/or alcohol. This training consists of three full days and is facilitated by Monica Sivertson, Resource Social Worker with Secwepemc Child and Family Services. Foster Parents, Caregivers, MCFD staff, Delegated Aboriginal Agencies staff and community partners who work with Safe Babies homes are welcome.
* Please bring a packed lunch
* Please bring a doll and blanket to the second class as we will be practicing swaddling techniques.
* Please note Infant CPR will be required in addition to this course to qualify as a Safe Baby home.
