Secondary Trauma Training presented by Dr. Linda O'Neill

Interior Community Services and Secwepemc Child and Family Services are please to bring Dr. Linda O’Neill to Kamloops. She is a practicing counsellor, a certified trauma specialist, counsellor educator and the Clinical Coordinator at the Community Counselling Centre in Prince George, BC. She brings years of trauma practice with children, youth and adults in the Prince George and the far North communities as well as research on all aspects of trauma effects and interventions. The training is constantly being refined to reflect the most recent research in the rapidly changing world of trauma support.
This training is open to Foster Parents and other community professionals who would like to learn more about Secondary Trauma. Dr. Linda O’Neill creates a safe space for people to discuss and explore the topic of Secondary Trauma.
Cost: $20 for Foster Parents and $25 for Other Community Professionals

The first 50 Foster Parents to make a payment will be given the reduced rate of $10 – This applies to foster parents who foster for either the Kamloops MCFD, SCFS, and LMO offices
