STFC Resource Library

Posted Feb 11, 2020

The STFC Program has a variety of resources (books, videos and workbooks) for a variety of ages available for Foster Parents to access.  These resources cover a range of topics including: anxiety, FASD, grief and loss, sexuality, trauma, how the brain works, parenting, behavioural challenges, and substance use.

If you are a Foster Parent in one of our surrounding areas please let us know if there is a specific topic you are interested in and we can bring resources for you to review the next time we are in your community. We can also schedule time to view some of our video resources in our office, or your community at a time that works. We are always interested to hear what resources you have found helpful so we can look at ordering for other Foster Parents to access as well. We have recently added some fantastic resources on Therapeutic Parenting that you might be interested in!
